Your guide will meet you on your arrival in Cape Town. He / she will take you on a city tour of South Africa’s beautiful mother city before checking in at your hotel. This tour includes the Castle of Good Hope, Parade Ground, City Hall, Houses of Parliament, Tuinhuis and the DEIC (Dutch East Indian Company) Gardens. Dinner can be enjoyed at one of the numerous restaurants on the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront. Overnight in Cape Town on the V & A Waterfront.
Take a scenic drive around the “Cape Peninsula”. Visit Hout Bay and the Cape Fur Seal colony on Duiker Island, Chapman’s Peak Pass, Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, Cape of Good Hope, Cape Point, Boulders – Penguins. Have lunch in Simonstown at one of the numerous restaurants. Optional and weather permitting – we take the cableway up Table Mountain. Evening at leisure. Overnight in Cape Town on the V & A Waterfront.
A day at leisure, where you can do the following optional activities – a city orientation tour of South Africa’s beautiful Mother City on the “hop-on hop-off bus” or visit a local township or visit Robben Island where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned for 17 years or visit to Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens or visit one of the numerous beautiful beaches around the Cape or for the energetic – take a hike up Table Mountain or for the brave – shark cage diving. Evening at leisure. Overnight in Cape Town on the V & A Waterfront.
Wine tastings and a cellar tour at various wine estates along the Cape’s world-renowned Stellenbosch Wine Route, also spend some time in the picturesque and historical towns of Stellenbosch and Franschhoek. Your farewell dinner will be served at the Vijff Vlieghen (Five Flies) Restaurant in town. Overnight in Cape Town on the V & A Waterfront.
Morning at leisure. There will be time for last minute shopping and lunch at the V & A Waterfront, weather permitting an optional helicopter flight over the “Cape Peninsula”. Transfer to Cape Town International Airport in order for you to catch your onward flight or flight home.
